Lady GaGa is extending her media domination beyond the radio airwaves as she has earned her first crop of Emmy Award nominations. The entertainer’s ‘Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: at Madison Square Garden’ has received 5 nods, her first batch of nominations ever received at the prestigious event.

GaGa’s special has landed nominations for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special; Directing; Technical Direction/Camerawork/Video Control, Picture Editing and Lighting Design. The show is slated to air on September 18th from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
