Did you know that Katy Perry holds the record for the most consecutive weeks in top 10 of the Billboard 100?
As of the week ending July 28th 2011, the Pop star has remained in the upper region of the chart for an incredible 63 weeks. Perry became the first artist to spend an entire year in the top 10 in the week ending May 28th thanks to the success of 4 consecutive hit singles 2010 - ‘California Gurls (Ft. Snoop Dogg)’, ‘Teenage Dream’, ‘Firework’ and ‘E.T (Ft. Kanye West)’.
She has since been extending her stay at the top with her latest release, ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)’. 4 of Perry’s 5 singles from her ‘Teenage Dream’ LP have thus far hit #1 on the Hot 100.
