Even Beyonce can’t stop Adele. After 2 weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart, the singer’s ’4′ album has been ousted from the #1 position by Adele recurring chart-topper, ’21′.
’4′ sold an impressive 32,438 copies this week but that wasn’t enough to outperform ’21′ which sold 43,556 units. The latter has now spent an astounding 17 of its 25 weeks of release at the top of the album tally.
Adele’s debut album, ’19′, also boasts a position in the top 3 at #3 by selling a further 18,435 copies and spending a 27th consecutive week in the top 10. See other leading Urban/Pop releases on both the album and singles charts below:
