It’s obvious that Beyonce has been listening to the demands of her fans and DJs alike because she has selected ‘Party (Ft. Andre 3000)’ as the next official single from her ’4′ album. In fact, the record will impact Urban/UAC radio next week.
‘Party’ will be formally impact the airwaves on August 30th. The song’s accompanying video was filmed early this month in New Jersey and will feature cameos from Beyonce’s sister Solange and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland.

Beyonce has certainly made the right choice by selecting ‘Party’ as the next Urban single from ’4′. The song has accumulated more airplay than any of the other album tracks that have yet to be released to radio and continues receive heavy rotation.
However, if Beyonce wants to improve the sales of this album then she needs to score a major Pop/Top 40 hit. Interestingly, she actually has several songs that could help her accomplish that feat – ‘End of Time’, ‘Start Over’ and ‘Countdown’.
Interestingly, despite the fact that ‘End of Time’ lacks a blatant hook, it has defied the odds by already becoming a standout favourite on US Pop radio. Furthermore, the record has an even better chance of major chart success in foreign markets such as the UK and Latin America because of the included World Music elements (the drums).
Nevertheless, regardless of Beyonce’s eventual decision, the key tool that will guarantee an upsurge in her record sales would be a tour. Her inability to nab a hit single has had a detrimental affect on her career this era but the demands by people to see her live has yet to lessen. When in doubt, shake your wig.
