Beyonce To Perform At 2011 MTV VMA

The list of performers for the 2011 MTV VMA finally looks complete as Beyonce has officially been added to the lineup. The electrifying entertainer, who will release her ‘Party (Ft. Andre 3000)’ single next week, will hit the stage at the event that airs live 9pm ET on August 28th.
Lady GaGa is expected to open the show that will also feature showings by Chris Brown, Adele, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars and this year’s house act Jessie J. See the announcement of Beyonce’s addition below:
This is certainly some timely news as a performance at such a major event would be the perfect opportunity for Beyonce to launch ‘Party’. The song is definitely not a spectacle to see live but it would be quite enjoyable to see her add it to a medley with another track from the album such as ‘End of Time’.
Hopefully, Beyonce does not plan to deliver a rendition of ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ at the show. Although the tune is indeed her current single, she has tried and failed to make it a hit, undoubtedly thanks to her redundant live arrangement.

Is she gonna be there via satellite?
All Beyonce performances are the same and we all know she won’t do anything different, but I always look forward to them. I hope she doesn’t do ‘Run The World (Girls)’ all over again, it’s redundant now; clearly in her mind she thinks that’s her biggest hit after ‘Single Ladies’…NOT!

I too wonder if she will actually be on the VMA stage or will it be broadcast from somewhere else. I personally thought it was tacky of BET to do that shit! if she couldnt be there in person, keep her off the line up! I swear the awards didnt need that bs performance anyway. HOPEFULLY she is actually there.

I agree with Trent she needs to do something with the new single and then do End Of Time because Party wouldnt be enough on its own! If she did EOT she would blow the roof off! I hope she doesnt do RTW or BTINH! She needs to move onto the next singles!
OMG she better add End of Time or Countdown to that performance because, although I love the song, I don’t think the performance of Party would be entertaining.
