Things seem to be looking up for Lil Kim. After months of being labelled a joke throughout the industry for her foolhardy attempts to remain relevant by attacking artists who actually have the ability to sell albums, the Pikachu rapper has now joined the Universal Music Group roster.
Kim’s name has been mysteriously added to the lineup of UMG acts without any major announcement. Although it has yet to be confirmed which specific label in the company she will join, Kim had expressed several times that despite being proud of the control she has over her own affairs, she is indeed willing to partner with a major label in some regard.
There is still no word concerning how this will affect her shift at Walmart upcoming single release. We wait with bated breath.
