Did you know that Chris Brown was crowned as Billboard’s Artist of the Year in both 2006 and 2008?

The R&B/Pop singer was the most successful act overall on the Billboard charts in both those years thanks to the chart accomplishments of multiple hit singles, including ‘No Air (with Jordin Sparks)’ and ‘Forever’, as well as his double platinum ‘Chris Brown’ and ‘Exclusive’ albums. In 2008, Brown even outranked Lil Wayne who had the top-selling album of the year with ‘Tha Carter III’.

FAME is success esp given his circumstances. People will always be quick to count you out but he proved why he is a GREAT entertainer and artist.
