As JoJo’s fans wait patiently for the 2012 release of her ‘Jumping Trains’ LP, the singer has already filmed the video for the records first single, ‘Disaster’. Directed by Benny Boom, the dramatic video was filmed in Los Angeles on September 14th.
Watch behind the scenes footage of the shoot below:
Despite the positive reception of ‘Disaster’, many of JoJo’s fans are eager to hear her release an R&B single. She is one of the few acts who can find success in both the Pop and Urban markets without sounding forced; she is indeed a natural. Hence, it would be a great move for her to target the R&B formats and target all corners of her fanbase.
Love her voice, I am so glad she is free, such a shame she pushed her album back. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that she is adding more Urban songs to the album. The kind of pop she is doing is where Kelly Clarkson is coming in at.

@Papa She has never pushed back her album as there was never any date – she has always been recording in the studio.
It would’ve been stupid for her to release her album this year anyway. She needs time to really promote the single and really get her name out there again. Hopefully she can have a hit with ‘Disaster’ and then she can release a RnB single followed by the album in early 2012.
I don’t care what she say, but that album was pushed back. Fans been waiting for the same album since 2008/2009. The only difference is she changed The name of the album and put different songs on there. But yeah, I’m glad she is releasing it next month anyway.
@HoHo, CO-SIGN!
Rushing an album this year would have been career sucide. The public need this year to be re-introduced to her. ‘Disaster’ is doing well on itunes. I think it went top 30.
I really hope she reconnects with the public and has a massive year in 2012. Plus, I think she will do some r&b tracks after the success of her remix to ‘Marvins Room’.
I have her other albums, and i have been waitingggggg for her to come out with new music since she released her mixtape! Love “Disaster” can’t wait to see the finished video, and i’m really looking forward to Jumping Trains!
SHE LOOKS SO FXCKIN HOT!!!! DAMN! lol
She’s so tallented though, I love “Disaster” it’s gonna do great hope she has some R&B tracks too, “The High Road” had tons and that album is amazing.
