Brandy made a guest appearance on ‘Access Hollywood Live’ this morning to discuss the direction of her new album. Already described by Rico Love as entailing a “classic R&B” sound, Brandy confirmed that the record will feature her reinventing herself as an artist.

Brandy also spoke about her role on the new season of Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’, her stint on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and her recent performance at the SA Sports Awards. Her new record will be released in early 2012 via RCA Records.

Several artists claim to reinvent themselves with each project but Brandy is one of the few who always tries something new. Each album from her debut to ‘Human’ was vastly different and I am confident that she will find yet another way to impress her fans with her unique voice.
