Melanie Fiona was the main attraction at SummerStage at Rumsey Playfield, Central Park in New York City yesterday. Performing several songs, including ’4 AM’ from her upcoming December 6th release, ‘The MF Life’, the R&B songbird demonstrated the extent of her talent to the packed crowd.

It’s great to see Fiona performing shows like this because she will slowly build her fanbase. Although her talent certainly deserves to be showcased in arenas instead of small venues, the utility of simple word of mouth will certainly benefit her in the long run.
