The release of J. Cole’s ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’ is merely days away so the rapper has increased his promotional efforts by debuting the video for ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’. The song is included on the LP as a bonus track in addition to the lead single, ‘Work Out’, and ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’.

Surely, with his album launching in stores this week, J. Cole should have other forms of promotion prepared. Like his Young Money counterpart Drake, he has to utilise the media to his advantage, particularly late night television, such as ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’.
In fact, J. Cole’s brand of Hip-Hop targets a more mature audience and the late night talk show circuit is the best way to access that market. Indeed, online promotion alone will not be enough to give him the breakthrough hit that he deserves.
