Christina Milian averred that she had found her own sound on her upcoming studio album and thanks to her new role on NBC’s ‘The Voice’, the world will finally get to hear it. Although she did not land a spot as a coach, the singer has been named as the show’s official Social Media Correspondent.
Milian will interact with fans through Facebook, Twitter, NBC.com and NBC Live in the role formerly fulfilled by Alison Haislip. Furthermore, Milian will also make appearances on the live episodes of ‘The Voice’ throughout the season.
The second season of ‘The Voice’ is scheduled to premiere on February 5th at 10pm ET. Jessie J was previously announced as a coach on the UK incarnation of the show that will air early next year.

CMilianOfficial So I’m officially your eyes and ears behind and beyond the stage for @NBCTheVoice so if your a major fan u may wanna #FOLLOW me! 10/26/11 4:45 PM |
Certainly this is a timely opportunity for Milian. Despite being a talented act, the public’s perception of her has not been very favourable following her string of relationships with several of the producers with whom she worked during the last few years.
Moreover, the numerous delays of her new album have resulted in a lack of interest in Milian’s music career. Hence, if she cleverly releases new material while ‘The Voice’ is on the air and scores a slot to perform on the live shows then she will be able to reintroduce herself to the media in a new regard with the focus being entirely on her talent.
