Janet Jackson is preparing for the start of the Australian leg of her ‘Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour’ on October 18th in Perth but before the excitement begins, the icon contacted Richard Wilkins of ‘Today’ to talk about the venture. While discussing the show, Janet placed particular emphasis on the ‘Scream’, which she performs in tribute to her late brother Michael.
Janet recently attended the trial of Michael’s former doctor, Conrad Murray, who is currently on trial for manslaughter for his involvement in the King of Pop’s death. The court proceedings were among the main factors cited by Janet for her inability to participate in the ‘Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert’ that occurred in the UK last week.
