Following her stunning covers of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’, Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade’ and Rihanna’s ‘What’s My Name?’ last week, JoJo decided to perform her own renditions of songs with special meaning. The young songbird paid tribute to two of her fallen idols, Amy Winehouse and Aaliyah, by singing some of their classic tunes.
Also included on JoJo’s setlist was her own ‘Leave (Get Out)’, ‘Too Little Too Late’ and the title track of her ‘Jumping Trains’ album, which is due early next year. Furthermore, she sang her latest single, ‘Disaster’, the video for which will premiere tomorrow. She released a special sneak peek of the visual last week weekend.
Watch JoJo perform Winehouse’s ‘You Know I’m No Good’ as well as Aaliyah’s ‘Are You That Somebody?’, ‘One in a Million’ and more below:
JoJo is the very definition of a versatile artist! I am hereby demanding to see her birth certificate because there is absolutely no way that she could be that talented at the age of 20 years old!
