Did you know that Beyonce and Rihanna were tied in second place among artists with the most #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 during the 2000-2009 decade?

Both women scored 5 #1 singles on the Hot 100 during that 10-year period and ranked second behind Usher who landed 7 chart-toppers. Beyonce’s first #1 single in that time – and her first #1 as a solo artist – was ‘Crazy in Love’, which peaked at the summit on July 12th 2003. Rihanna, on the other hand, notched her first #1 song on May 13th 2006 with ‘SOS’.

Notably, Rihanna has since clocked 5 additional #1 singles on the Hot 100. However, Beyonce has yet to return to the top following ‘Single Ladies’ in 2008 and remains with a total of 5 career chart-toppers as a solo act.

  Beyonce is a much better artist
  However, Bey can improve on her originality and innovation and rihanna on her enitre skill set

  I totally agree. Beyonce is obviously the better singer, but Rihanna’s music is a lot better. For some reason, i never get bored listening to her. She’s always relevant
