Speculation swirled that will.i.am and Jennifer Lopez were planning to collaborate after an image of the duo in the studio was released. Now, the result of their time in the booth has surfaced in the form of a new song entitled ‘Hard’, which features Rock & Roll legend Mick Jagger.

Listen to the song, which will reportedly appear on will.i.am’s upcoming ‘Black Einstein’ solo album, below:

‘Hard’ is the typical will.i.am song with nothing particular outstanding or exciting about the arrangement. In fact, the track could have easily been included on the Black Eyed Peas’ ‘The E.N.D.’ because of the similar crescendo Dance-driven climax to ‘Imma Be’.

Regardless, if will.i.am decided to release ‘Hard’ as a single it will undoubtedly be a hit. With the public’s perplexing demand for nonsensical club tracks and the notoriety of Lopez and Jagger, it will be difficult for this song to miss the top of the charts.
