Rick Ross experienced a medical scare earlier today while on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis. Shortly after the plane took flight, the heavyweight rapper collapsed and caused his entourage to erupt in panic.

According TMZ reports, Ross apparently suffered a seizure around 12:55pm ET and the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing so that could paramedics could resuscitate Ross with CPR. He was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he is now now under careful supervision. Fortunately, rapper Wale was able to confirm that Ross has since regained consciousness and is well.

Ross is expected to release his ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ album on December 13th. The record is preceded by the lead single ‘You The Boss (Ft. Nicki Minaj)’.
