The Jackson family received their first taste of justice on November 7th when Conrad Murray was found guilty for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson and today the legal system operated in their favour once again. Indeed, the man who has been embroiled in a swirling media circus for over two years has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor issued the ruling just moments ago at the Los Angeles Superior Court and sentenced Murray to the maximum period of time allotted to such a case. Murray was convicted for death of Jackson from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol and will serve his sentence in a state prison. The case aired live via NBC News earlier today and was attended by several members of the Jackson clan, including La Toya Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and their mother, Katherine Jackson.
