Clive Davis had taken Jennifer Hudson under his guidance in his efforts to fashion her as the next Whitney Houston during the last year. To express her gratitude for his leadership, Hudson honoured her mentor with a performance of ‘Hallelujah’ at the 4h annual Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai gala at the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Headquarters in New York.
Hudson may not have Houston’s voice but she has definitely matched her idol’s weight class. She was featured on the cover of Ebony magazine December/January issue and flaunted her ever-shrinking frame with pride.
