Justin Bieber and Mary J. Blige engaged in some cross-promotion on ‘The View’ today. The duo performed a rendition of Bieber’s ‘Mistletoe’ – the lead single from his #1 Christmas album, ‘Under the Mistletoe’ – while making notable mention of Blige’s ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1)’ afterward.
‘My Life II’ is projected to enter the Billboard 200 at #4 with 120K-140K copies next week behind Rihanna’s ‘Talk That Talk’, which is predicted to debut at #2 with 180K-200K. Watch Blige’s performance with Bieber below:
Blige was clearly holding back while singing with Bieber. However, isn’t that the same thing that Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men did in their respective duets with him?

Mary is embarrassed, being FORCED to show so much restraint considering her co-singers lack of vocal range.
…kinda painful to watch.
