Did you know that Mariah Carey has written and produced more #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other female act in history?

Carey wrote 17 of her 18 #1 hits on the Hot 100 and produced 14. In fact, she is ranked in third place among the most successful songwriters in the history of the chart where Paul McCartney has written 32 #1 songs and John Lennon has penned 26.

Interestingly, Carey co-wrote her entire self-titled debut album but was prevented from co-producing the project. The only track on the LP that she produced was ‘Vanishing’.
