Mariah Carey has presented a Holiday treat with the release of a remix of ‘When Christmas Comes’, which features a special guest - John Legend. The ever-festive diva, who rarely performs duets, teased her fans with a snippet of the tune earlier this month.
Carey has already filmed the supporting video for ‘When Christmas Comes’ in Los Angeles earlier this week. Although an official date for the debut of the clip has not been stated, Carey has promised to unveil a special surprise for her supporters on November 17 at 12pm ET.

This was one of the few occurrences where a complete revamp of a song for the remix was not necessary. The original composition of ‘When Christmas Comes’ was simply brilliant – as was the rest of Carey’s ‘Merry Christmas II You’ album – and Legend’s vocals simply enhanced it.
It will be a phenomenal decision for Carey to work with Legend on her upcoming studio album. In fact, the duo’s vocals will truly shine on one of the songs produced by Big Jim Wright, whose live arrangements have brought out the best qualities of Carey’s voice in recent years.
