New Video: Jason Derulo – ‘Breathing’

Jason Derulo’s ‘Future History’ album grossly underperformed but he has forged ahead by exactly what he does best – promoting his singles. ‘Breathing’ is the third official release from ‘Future History’, following ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ and ‘It Girl’ – both of which peaked in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
‘Future History’ debuted at #29 on the Billboard 200 and sold only 13K in its first week of availability. The album has thus far sold less than 25K copies in the US since September 27th.

It is clear why Derulo previously stated that ‘Breathing’ is one of his personal favourite songs – it is the best track on ‘Future History’. Surprisingly, this video was quite engaging for a Dance/Pop release and thanks to clever vocal production, his voice sounded great.
Derulo has obviously suffered from the sophomore slump with ‘Future History’ but that was a result of his own incessant desire to follow the current club music trends. Hopefully, he has taken this situation as a useful lesson when forumlating his next project.

I Don’t feel sorry for this wannabe… He thought he was riding high when Breezy’s was out of the limelight for that short minute… Really had fooled himself in to believing he was going to take his spot, all those jingleballs etc. and look where he is today. Nope don’t feel sorry for this dude, I can still see that smirk on his face in that interview when asked about Breezy. But look who’s selling out arena’s, performing on major award shows… not you derulo…
LMAO at this guy. He is just awful How many awards has this guy won? None. First off his songs are mainstream only. Seems like the Urban community is not buying his music.

I really dont understand why CB stans hate on Derulo. Its like if another new artist comes out and he dances, you bitches gonna hate. Derulo needs to learn how to cater to URBAN RADIO
