The Black Eyed Peas guested on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ earlier today to discuss their new video game, ‘The Black Eyed Peas Experience‘. However, during the interview, the quartet were asked to address the rampant rumours that they were planning to split to which the responded by noting that were simply ready to take a short break.

Will.i.am made sure to remind viewers that the Peas regularly take breaks between their albums so that each member could focus on solo projects. So what exactly will each person in the group do in their time apart from each other? Well, Fergie has revealed that she is finally ready to have children.

A break is exactly what the Peas need. Their ‘The E.N.D.’ album was utter brilliance but ‘The Beginning’ was nothing more than recycled tracks and misplaced samples.

Hopefully, their time apart will inspire each member. Also, if they don’t reunite within the next two years then the Electro-Hop wave might have time to fade and will.i.am would stop producing the same tied beats from 2009.
