Justin Bieber and Nicole Scherzinger helped to break the monotony of the UK charts this week after scoring top 20 debuts with their latest releases. However, they achieved their respective feats on different tallies.

Bieber’s ‘Under the Mistletoe’ Christmas album has entered the UK Albums Chart at #13 without any major promotion in that territory. The record includes an appearance from Usher on a cover of ‘The Christmas Song’ as well as a duet with Mariah Carey on her everlasting classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. Bieber filmed the video for the latter with the diva herself earlier this week at Macy’s in New York City.

Nicole Scherzinger, on the the other hand, conducted a major campaign to ensure that her ‘Try With Me’ single made an impact on the Official UK Singles Chart. The song has debuted at #18 on the lineup, following her performance of the tune on ‘The X Factor (UK)’ last week.

‘Try With Me’ is the lead single from Scherzinger’s upcoming rerelease of her ‘Killer Love’ LP. The repackaged album will arrive in UK stores on November 14th.
