Almost exactly four months since the August premiere of his ‘Thursday’ mixtape, The Weeknd has returned with yet another surprise collection. The ‘Echoes of Silence’ EP includes eight new songs from the mysterious singer as well as the previously release ‘Initiation’.

The Weeknd has yet to reveal any details about his debut album but he has used the last few months  to hone his performance skills in a series of small venue shows and festivals. Of course, thanks to his role as Drake’s muse, he has already indirectly exposed his sound to a mainstream audience via the rapper’s platinum-certified ‘Take Care’ LP.
