Shortly after his taped appearance on Martina McBride’s ‘A Home For The Holidays’ special aired last evening, yet another Justin Bieber Holiday concert was broadcasted on television. ‘This is Justin Bieber’ was shown via TLC and it depicted the young superstar performing a range of tunes including surprisingly tolerable covers of Usher’s ‘U Got It Bad’ and Ne-Yo’s ‘Because of You’.
Bieber’s ‘Under the Mistletoe’ album has been a major success in the US. Thus far, the record has sold over 1 million copies and maintained another week in the top five of the Billboard 200 this week despite being released since November 1st.

After watching these performances, it became clear that Bieber’s voice is quickly getting deeper and soon he will lose his upper voice. Indeed, he struggled with the relatively easy belting and obviously had to lower the key of all the songs to suit her shrinking range.
So how could Bieber adjust his sound to handle his old material? He needs to learn to sing in his falsetto and mixed voice. Coincidentally, his mentor Usher is exceptionally talented in both of those departments so Bieber should seek his assistance. Regardless, it would be very interesting to hear how Bieber’s voice would sound in five years.
