Michael Buble hosted his ‘Home for Christmas’ ITV special this weekend as part of his bid to continue his domination of the UK Albums Chart with his ‘Christmas’ album. Yet, the crooner didn’t have to handle the task alone as he enlisted the bubbly Kelly Rowland for a rendition of the one of the world’s most popular Holiday songs, ‘White Christmas’.
This wasn’t Buble and Rowland’s first meeting, though. Indeed, Buble hit the stage during the finale weekend of ‘The X Factor (UK)’ where he relieved of the nerves contestants with a rendition of ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’.
Watch Bube and Rowland perform their ‘White Christmas’ duet below:
This showing highlighted the exact strengths and weaknesses of Rowland’s voice. She sounded quite brilliant while belting but rather shaky during the other parts of the performance, which is probably because she has not taken the time to train her entire range. In fact, that explains why she often sounds out of breath during renditions of her uptempo tunes – her lack of breath control is simply more obvious when serious movement is required.
Still, it was great to see Rowland enjoying the stage and having fun with Buble. She has truly blossomed into a wonderful performer and is far less inhibited than she was in the past.

She did a great job
She sounds really nice here.
I love the Bublé! I get why you didn’t do it Trent but I wish you had posted his performance with Gary B. They both sounded great! As for Rowland she was okay, nothing memorable though.
