Kelly Rowland has experienced several triumphs this year but the latest development in her career was nothing short of a major upset. Despite her gig as a judge on ‘The X Factor (UK)’ and her performance at the BBC 1Xtra Live concert, the aspiring diva’s ‘Here I Am’ International Edition has bombed in the UK.
The special edition of ‘Here I Am’ entered the UK Albums Chart at #56. The original version of the set, which landed at #3 in the US, first debuted on the tally in August at #126 and was expected to have a larger impact because of the top 10 start of Rowland’s new UK single, ‘Down for Whatever’.

Although this project has thus far been poorly promoted in both the US and the UK, the performance of ‘Here I Am’ in the latter was nothing short of shocking. Rowland has always enjoyed success in that territory but it seems that her winning streak has come to an abrupt end.
Hopefully, Rowland’s performance on ‘X Factor (UK)’ will improve her sales. If not then this would be a massive upset for both her and her label team who were expecting international success to bolster her unimpressive US sales.

Look at cookie monster! lol
My thoughts? Not a good album. I don’t know what European musical tastes are, but for me, it was too pop, less R&B.
lmaooo
[...] Kelly Rowland’s ‘Here I Am’ Ignored By UK Fans [...]
that sucks, she so talented and this was suppose to be her big break ! *sigh
The album will go on to sell higher in the next few weeks and stay within the top 20 and probably peak within the top 5 after tonights performance. It should b doing better but kelly is still complacent, she didn’t start promoting the album until its day of release last week. Its also made harder by the fact that its lead single was released over a year ago…. this whole project was poorly handled.
Her team has to understand that when you have hits you have to stick with everything. Hopefully, it’ll do alot better. She has grown so much.
I don’t get the gif
