Did you know that at the peak of her career, Paula Abdul was one of the most successful artists of the late 1980s and early 1990s?
A former choreographer for Janet Jackson, Abdul notched 6 #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, including ‘Rush Rush’, ‘Cold Hearted’ and ‘The Promise of a New Day’, from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, her ‘Forever Your Girl’ debut album was certified 7x platinum by the RIAA after taking a record 64 weeks to climb to #1 on the Billboard 200.

she may not be the best singer AT ALL but as a dancer she’s in my top 5 for choreographers.
Did not know this. I always wondered what was so special about her that Simon needed her in his shows. She seems like such a nice person.
