Did you know that Kelly Clarkson’s ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ holds the record for the biggest leap to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100?
‘My Life’ jumped from #97 to #1 on the Hot 100 in February 2009 and broke the record set by Britney Spears’ ‘Womanizer’, which vaulted from #96 to #1 on the lineup in October 2008. Additionally, ‘My Life’ set the record for the largest upward shift of any song to the summit of the chart with its 96-spot catapult to the #1 spot.
Coincidentally, Clarkson previously held the record for the biggest jump to #1 with her debut single, ‘A Moment Like This’, which moved from #52 to #1 in 2002. Watch the video for ‘My Life’ below:
