Nicole Scherzinger Dazzles With Opera Performance At Royal Variety Show

Little is known about Nicole Scherzinger’s mysterious past but as she continues to expand the rech of her brand, audiences around the world are being exposed to her enormous talent. For instance, did you know that Scherzinger is a trained Opera singer? Well, if you didn’t then her rendition of music from the ‘Phantom of the Opera’ at the 2011 Royal Variety Performance will amaze you!
In addition to being a trained in the classical arts and musical theatre, Scherzinger was also a member of Eden’s Crush. She earned a spot in the short-lived girl group after winning the reality show ‘Pop Stars’.

Scherzinger did a fantastic job of singing that classical piece! Really, her Opera performance was more interesting than her rendition of ‘Try with Me’ and that truly indicated that she probably missed her true calling in life. Besides, her solo recording career has been far from successful so perhaps she should return to her roots.

This is way better than her pop efforts…I don’t get why she wasn’t doing this instead.

I remember being really shocked when I found out Nicole could sing OPERA! She’s very talented. It’s unfortunate that she can’t find success in her solo career. Honestly, she really needs to find new management, and stop letting people hate her on XFactor.

Amazing !!! Wow Wow, i would love to see her do what she wants to do and not what pleases others. She is very talented. Making it in America isnt everything. The rest of europe love her so she should explore that more. America can be so slow at times.
I knew Nicole had a whistle range, but I didn’t know her classical background. I loved her in Eden’s Crush. Simon and L.A. Reid is right. Nicole is a “less is more” singer.

It’s clear that Opera is her true calling. I never knew that she could sing like that. I’d buy her album if her vocals sounded like that. She sounded swell.

This isn’t opera, it’s musical theater.
She has a very nice upper register, but the lower tones aren’t that supported.
Sorry folks but that was not Opera. The song Nicole sang was not an Aria nor was it classical. “The Phantom of the Opera is a MUSICAL by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Although it is operatic in style it maintains the form and structure of a musical throughout.” I think she did sounded beautiful and she did a wonderful job and I believe she is a trained Opera singer. I have to say however that was was much prettier than her new song Pretty. I think she missed her calling. Oh and just so that know I am a trained Opera singer and I have a very substantial background in music including critique so I do know of what I speak. Just sayin…

I watched her “TWM” performance and thought it was OK but her “Phantom… ” performance was way better, i knew she’d had some classical training but i did not expect her to hit that high note at the end! lmao
It wasn’t amazing by classical singer standards but if she got some more training she could be good
Such a shame that her own country are so bitter towards her. She is such a talented woman. I guess American pop music will always be with médiocre artists (ie Katy, Britney, Rihanna). Talent is never enough in the US. Gotta have gimmicks, publicity, outrageous costumes and behavior.
