Beyonce & Jay-Z Announce Daughter’s Arrival In Press Release

Beyonce first announced her pregnancy to media at the 2011 MTV VMA and now things have come full circle with an official press release regarding the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. In a joint statement with Jay-Z, the couple made sure to emphasise the point that their baby was delivered naturally and not via C-section as previously reported.

Interestingly, Jay-Z debuted a new song entitled ‘Glory’ earlier today that featured vocals by Blue Ivy. The tune described the rapper’s emotions regarding his new daughter and the various struggles, such as a miscarriage, that the Beyonce faced while conceiving the child.
