Jessie J Celebrates The New Year On ‘Hootenanny’

Isn’t technology amazing? Thanks to the power pre-taping, Jessie J was able to appear on television screens in both the US and the UK on New Year’s Eve as she welcomed the new year. In addition to her spot on ‘New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly’, the singer was a featured act on Jools Holland’s annual ‘Hootenanny’ special.

Jessie J delivered a lively rendition of her biggest hit, ‘Price Tag’ – hopefully, for the last time – with the support of Jools’ incredible live band. Of course, we will be seeing a lot of of Jessie J in 2012 because she has already begun recording a followup to her ‘Who You Are‘ album and will act as a coach on ‘The Voice (UK)’.

The time has definitely come for Jessie J to retire ‘Price Tag’ for a while. Honestly, she has performed the song at almost every event in 2011 and it has run its course on the charts. Please Jessie J, in the name of everything good in the world, stop it!
