Alexandra Burke’s team has put the carriage before the horse – or should we say elephant? – by releasing the remix of her single, ‘Elephant’, ahead of its official radio debut. The standard version of the tune will premiere next week and be issued to digital retailers on February 26th.
‘Elephant’ is the lead offering from Burke’s sophomore album, which is scheduled to hit stores later this year. The tune was initially earmarked to be released in September last year but was unexpectedly delayed.
Listen to Burke’s ‘Elephant (Erick Morillo, Romero & Nunez Remix)’ below:
It is almost impossible to judge the quality of ‘Elephant’ by this remix because Dance productions usually pervert original compositions beyond recognition. However, judging by the lyrics – those that could be heard over the blaring synths – this track definitely has a sexual tone. Still, let us wait to hear Burke’s standard version of ‘Elephant’ before we judge.

That sounds NOTHING like her. She has such a nice voice and it’s being wasted away by being drowned in autotune.
I like the remix though.
This remix is actually nice but it doesn’t sound like her except for the belted notes
The remix is alright. But she needs to push up the date of the original. It makes no sense that the remix is out in the beginning of January but the original won’t come out until the end of February.
I really like this and know the single mix will be hot and huge. The song goes to radio next week which will give it 6 weeks before release that is good.
It reminds me of We found love ♥ … Its got that kinda build uP to the chourus … But its the Remix u cnt realy judge but u get the idea .. I think its a grower ..I thot We found ♥ was average wen I first herd it .. As it became mre popular I actually began to LOVEE it soo I think this one will b equally good .. They sound similar but wooo. Premier Next thursday!
