New Song: Alexandra Burke – ‘Elephant’

Last week, Alexandra Burke released the official remix of her new single, ‘Elephant’, and now the radio edit of the tune has been issued. The song is the lead offering from the ‘X Factor (UK)’ winner’s upcoming sophomore album, which will arrive in stores in spring.
Is the song groundbreaking or fresh? Not at all but it should help you work up a sweat at the gym. Listen to Burke’s ‘Elephant’ below:
So Burke basically jumped on the Dance/Pop bandwagon and made mindless hit for the club circuit? Maybe she is aiming to score a major hit with her lead single to generate momentum for her other releases and that is why she made such a predictable record.
Let’s give Burke the benefit of the doubt because her talent deserves at least that. If, however, her entire album comprises tracks similar to ‘Elephant’ then she might have to find a job feeding that animal at the zoo because nobody will buy her LP. If you doubt me then ask Jason Derulo.

Trent used to be a fair and reasonable reviewer he has now become bitter and dishonest. trent you know Elephant will be a smash hit and is is a huge song with a great production.
Some of the posters being negative are full of shit or it is the same person.This song is going to be an International No 1.

Stop being a hater Trent. Alexandra has done what she is supposed to do with a comeback single a strong dance number that will get big airplay. It will easily be a mega-hit.

Not sure why Trent has turned on Alexandra he wrote this about her recently about her Whos loving You:

Ok… First of ALL… Erick Morrillo, the producer behind the song is an amazing house music and dance producer who’s sound is not a fucking carbon copy of what other artists have done. He’s been in the business nearly 20+ years.
Secondly.. I actually love Alexandra Burke and feel while this isn’t her particular genre, she can do it because, it’s all about having fun with music. Yes, respecting an audience is key but, disrespecting ones self creatively is another.
I hate it when I see people bash recording artists for not living up to people’s expectations. Give it a rest. Just because, everyone is doing it.. DOES NOT mean they are all jumping on a bandwagon, some artists genuinely like the sound. I say fuck it and enjoy it. stop judging.

I wish they didn’t drown her voice in autotune because she has a fantastic voice and I wish the bridge was a little bit longer with a stronger dub beat.
I think this is the first song Alex has ever written so noone should expect her to be a lyrical genius just yet. But the video needs to be abit literal to tell the story and explain the lyrics… , they must extend the bridge and add a dance break with 2004 Britney style choreography. and please let her weave be on point.
