New Song: Chris Brown – ‘Mona Lisa (Ft. Kevin McCall)’

Chris Brown may have his mind set on his upcoming Grammy Awards appearance but he has not lost any focus regarding music. Indeed, the versatile entertainer released a new song entitled ‘Mona Lisa (Ft. Kevin McCall)’ early this morning as a reminder to his fans that he has been hard at work in the studio.

It has yet to be confirmed whether ‘Mona Lisa’ would be included on Brown’s upcoming ‘Fortune’ album alongside the lead single, ‘Strip (Ft. Kevin McCall)’. The LP  is scheduled for release in March.

The bass in ‘Mona Lisa’ is addictive but it would definitely be a better bonus cut for ‘Fortune’ instead of a main album track. Brown is very talented but McCall’s rhymes are far from exciting and he has already ruined been included on ‘Strip’.

   I know Chris Brown owes a big one to McCall for his comeback hit “Deuces” but the denial has to stop: nobody is here for Kevin McCall.
   This album ain’t going nowhere so far. “Treading water” is a hit in the making but after what happened to “All Back”, I won’t bet on anything.

   It’s an okay song. I like Chris but he’s given better than this. I figured that he would go all out on Fortune, seeing as FAME was so great but so far he hasn’t delivered anything remotely spectacular.

   I’m not here for Kevin McCall; he hasn’t had a great verse since Deuces.

   This sounds like a mixtape song….. Yeah will not be making the cut for Fortune.. lol Chris Brown is mart he is just releasing random songs to get people talkin he might even just drop a mixtape like last year with FAME.

   This wont be on fortune.Chris album songs are always far better songs then this,although i do like it for fun.He usually keep the ratchetness to a low on the albums lol.And since kmac said more free shit from cbe and chris retweeted it that makes me believe it was not intended for the album.

   Honestly, this wasn’t even worthy of a post. I was happy most of the blogs were ignoring it but I figured some blog would give it some uneeded coverage. The song is terrible and everyone acknowledges that. Don’t over react people.
   This is NOT going on Fortune.

   Kmac tweeted it then Chris RT’d it. If it was going to be on Fortune Chris would have mentioned it cause any time he releases something for his album he says if it’s gonna be on the album. This is probably just some random mixtape recorded, it doesn’t even sound mastered. I understand KMac is CB’s artist and he wants to help get him out there but whenever KMac raps he always ruins a record. KMac needs to stick to songwriting/producing cause that’s where his talent lies. Not rapping.

   Chris has never had anything this ratchet on an album before. ‘Strip’ is basic but that’s about as ratchet as he would go for an album. He has already announced ‘Biggest Fan’ as his next single and several people from his team have said this as well. Sit tight people. Don’t lose faith.

   @Mishka: Um….I understand what you’re saying with KMac, but the rest of your comment, as usual, doesn’t make any sense. What do you mean “after what happened with ‘All Back’?! Nothing happened with ‘All Back’ it was NEVER released as a single. Ever!

   How are you just gonna write the entire album off based off of the one song you’ve heard?! You obviously haven’t heard the othe leaked songs cause honestly ‘Treading Water’ is the weakest one. ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’, ‘Fools With You’, ‘Open Road’, ‘Thinking About You’. He has plenty of hits that are gonna be on Fortune. Don’t judge the whole damn album off of one leak that is obviously not gonna be on Fortune.

   I swear you always have something negative to say….

   This song is for Chris fans & Teambreezy it is not on Fortune. It will probably be on his mixtape
