New Video: Nicki Minaj – ‘Stupid Hoe’

When Nicki Minaj released the official first single from her upcoming ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’, ‘Stupid Hoe’, many of her fans hoped that the song’s accompanying video would make the horrendous song more tolerable. Unfortunately, the Hype Williams-directed clip premiered just moments ago and it is literally a visual representation of the nonsensical track.

Minaj is expected to perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards on February 12th. It has yet to be confirmed whether she will deliver a rendition of ‘Stupid Hoe’, ‘Roman in Moscow’ or use her better judgement by performing a tune from her ‘Pink Friday’ debut album.

This video is a perfect depiction of the song’s title – stupid. From Minaj’s sidekick, Scaff Beezy, planking on an expensive car without any relation to the song to her fail dutty wine and overly animated actions, this entire production was a disaster.

It is worrying to know that ‘Roman Reload’ will be released on February 14th and this ‘Stupid Hoe’ video will be used as the lead offering from the project. Really, at this stage I could safely say that I refuse to waste my iTunes credit on anything that Minaj has to offer.

Who told Minaj this song and video was a good idea? What was going through her mind when she made this filth? When will we be given a better single? Where is the Minaj from her debut album? Why has she forsaken us? How could she honestly think this garbage was acceptable? We have many questions that need to be answered.

  Nicki already stated that the song she’s performing at the Grammy’s is a song we have yet to hear … I’m guessing ‘Va Va Voom’. Moving on, don’t act like every Missy video made sense. They were an amalgam of random, funky features … like ‘Stupid Hoe’. Besides that, it was already said by Nicki that this era she’s having fun. She’s broken tons of records and hadn’t any competition to match. So I don’t know what exactly you had your mouth wet for, Trent. I expect this album to be a flop, them chalking it up to a rerelease (as it should have been in the first place), then her getting more serious w/ the recent emergence of new rap acts like Iggy and Azealia. She has ppl to play w/ now.

  2. Her OFFICIAL single, Va Va Voom, impacts Rhythmic radio on February 7 and Top 40/Mainstream on February 14th.

  Not a hater at all. I’m actually a fan. And I can’t stress enough how incredibly disappointed I am. People who are content with this are either:
  A.) Delusional Stans/Yes-men
  B.) Not true fans
  or
  C.) People with horrible taste in music.
  There’s no way one can listen to this song and say it’s even remotely good. I honestly think the video would’ve been more enjoyable if the song wasn’t so terrible.
