Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars & Others To Perform At Grammy Awards
Nicki Minaj blazed onto the music scene as one of the most exciting new acts of the last few years yet there is one stage that she has yet to conquer – the Grammy Awards. However, for the first time in her short yet exciting career, the colourful rapper will perform at the show when it airs in February.
Nominated for Best New Artist at the 2012 Grammy ceremony, Minaj will perform at the event when it airs live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8pm ET on February 12th. Other acts who have been announced as entertainers for the evening included Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, the Foo Fighters and Kelly Clarkson. Additionally, Chris Brown is reportedly planning his return to the event for the first time since 2009.
February will be a veery busy month for Minaj. In addition to the Grammys, she will perform alongside Madonna and M.I.A. at Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th for the live debut of the Queen of Pop’s new single, ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’, from her upcoming ‘M.D.N.A.’ album. Finally, Minaj is also scheduled to release her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ LP on February 14th.

Won’t be watching. I think Adele is a great singer and Bruno can sing pretty darn good and writes well; however, I still can’t believe they would put Rihanna in the same category, for Album of the Year. Did the voting academy see any of her LIVE performances or read her credentials (lack of writing credits, auto-tuned tracks, over-sexed, lazy performer). What an insult to Adele! Album of the Year is now the Milli Vanilli award.
