Report: Beyonce & Patti LaBelle Join Whitney Houston Grammy Tribute
The 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony is merely hours away and despite the sudden shock of Whitney Houston’s death, the producers have expertly managed to assemble an all-star tribute for the icon. In addition to Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan, who were previously confirmed to honor Houston, Headline News reporters have claimed that Beyonce, Patti LaBelle & Celine Dion have joined the lineup.
The Grammy show will start at 8pm ET on CBS. There is no word regarding when in the ceremony the tribute to Houston will occur but producers have carefully coordinated the segment to take place amongst other showings by Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and others.
This won’t be the first time that LaBelle has honored Houston. She previously paid homage to Houston and her mother, Cissy Houston, with a rendition of ‘I Have Nothing’ during the 1990s. Watch that performance below:

Destiny’s Child should’ve reunited exceptionally for Whitney the 3 ladies were such big fans , and Whitney gave them a shout out twice , once by singing Survivor during her lifetime achievement award during the BET Awards . I think it would’ve been beautiful .
I expect all of them to sing their faces off!! I’m getting my tissue, some wine, and the dvr ready.
I really hope this is true. I’m glad real singers are paying homage to Whitney. None’s here for Yellifer Hudson, Beyoncé, Celine & Patti better sang tonight!!!
I wish Mariah were there too but I guess she won’t, we all know she breaks down in tears during tributes. MJ memorial anyone? Sad.
One of the vocal trinity, The Majestic Celine is going to pay tribute to The Voice: Whitney. Only one person missing, The Magnificent Mariah.

To me, this tribute should be Mariah, Celine, Aretha, and Patti. The peers up there with you and the ones that came before. It shows exactly where she stands and the elite company she held.
