Brandy and Monica made waves with their new joint single, ‘All Belongs to Me’, when they debuted the Rico Love-produced track earlier this week. Now, the duo are preparing to keep the momentum going with a performance at Clive Davis’ upcoming pre-Grammy Awards gala this weekend.
Speaking to Rap-Up TV about their new projects, both Brandy and Monica shared details about their individual albums as well as how they felt to be reunited in the studio after 14 years. The most notable point during the interview, however, was the fact that Monica’s ‘New Life’ album has been delayed again and won’t hit stores until April 10th. Brandy’s record, on the other hand, is still on track for a May release.

At this stage, Monica just needs to remain silent about the release date of ‘New Life’ until she is absolutely sure about that it will stick. These repeated delays have done nothing to increase consumer confidence in the project or her viability as an artist.
