Fresh from his most recent Grammy Award wins, Cee Lo Green is amped and ready to launch a new era in his career. In fact, the quirky singer – or “sanger” as he regular calls himself – has announced that he has not one but two albums planned for 2012.
Cee Lo took to Twitter early this morning to reveal the title of his next album, ‘Everybody’s Brother’. Additionally, he shared the title of the Goodie Mob’s new project, ‘Age Against the Machine’, which will also be issued in the fall.
Notably, Goodie Mob’s album title has been changed from its original incarnation. It was previously called ‘We Sell Drugs Too’ but clearly that name was a bit too risque, even by Cee Lo’s standards.
Cee Lo’s previous LP, ‘The Lady Killer’, has thus far sold less than 350K copies in the US. However, the project generated the 5x platinum single ‘F*ck You’ and earned him three Grammys – Best Urban/Alternative Performance for ‘F*ck You’ as well as Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for ‘Fool For You (Ft. Melanie Fiona)’.
