Yesterday, it was announced that Adele will be performing at the 2012 Grammy Awards and now we have yet another name to add to the mix. Katy Perry has been tapped to hit the stage at the event that will air live via CBS on February 12th at 8pm ET.

Perry’s monster hit ‘Firework’ has earned her two nominations for this year’s Grammys ceremony – Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. However, she will have to compete with Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and ‘Someone like You’, respectively, in the race for the honors.

Other artists expected to perform at the 2012 Grammys include Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Coldplay, the Foot Fighters, Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars. Hopefully, Perry and Rihanna won’t share the stage for a duet.
