Mary J. Blige is one of the few singers who have had the opportunity to work with Whitney Houston but she also shared another experience with the diva. Indeed, similar to her fallen friend, Blige struggled with substance abuse and she provided unique insight about that life during an interview with ‘The Morning MIX’ radio show.
Speaking quite candidly about her experiences with drugs, Blige noted that it was very important for her to change her environment so that she could escape her afflictions. Sadly, that crucial point was not properly understood by Houston who was seen partying with Ray J and other people in the days leading to her death.
