Melanie Amaro Trumps Elton John In Pepsi Ad

Yesterday, Melanie Amaro’s Dance-themed cover of Otis Redding’s ‘Respect’, which was recorded specifically for her Pepsi ad campaign, was released and now the accompanying commercial has also been issued. Featuring Sir Elton John and rapper Flava Flav, the ad will run during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th.

Behind the scenes footage of the Pepsi commercial was shared last week. While sharing his opinions regarding Amaro, the reigning champion of ‘The X Factor (US)’, John noted that he was certain that she could be a hit and was confident in her talent.
