New Song: Madonna – ‘Girls Gone Wild’

Despite a massive lead in courtesy of the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show, Madonna’s ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ (Ft. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A.)’ was unable to rise pass #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. So, the icon has prepared another single for release – ‘Girls Gone Wild’.

Produced by Benny Benassi and Alle Benassi, ‘Girls Gone Wild’ will appear on Madonna’s upcoming ‘M.D.N.A.’ album, which arrives on March 26th. Another tune expected to appear on the LP is ‘Turn Up the Radio’. Check out a preview of that record here.

Now this is a bloody boss record! Clearly, Madonna got distracted by the possible excitement associated with having Nicki Minaj on ‘Give Me All Your Luvin” and was chasing after the younger audience that her counterpart offered. Yet, ‘Girls Gone Wild’ is far stronger and a definite hit.

‘Girls Gone Wild’ captures all the best elements of Dance/Pop yet doesn’t follow the regular format of other songs in that genre. Indeed, this is the kind of energy that made ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ a smash!

  Much much better then the 1st single but I don’t think this will do much better. This track seems like merely an album filler. It’s not strong enough to nab a high spot on billboard. I appreciate the effort though.

  I was more entice by the gif Trent. What performance is this from (Mary J. Blige)? Oh the song is okay it may give her that #3 spot on Billboard but I maybe reaching. Today’s music and youth are very short in the attention span but we will see may see can do some type controversy with it.

  This song sound like all the other repetitive Dance/Pop songs except for a few extra effects. Its not a bad song its just not different than all the other ish on the radio, which is annoying to me.

  It’s definately better than “GMAYL” it reminds me of “Can we get together” from the (amazing) “Confessions… ” album but dumbed down a bit if I’m honest.
  I do love the kind of trance laid back quality to it though, I’m wondering what the video’s gonna be like and it probably will chart higher since free copies arn’t being given away with the album download like with “GMAYL”
  I do hope that she has some mature stuff on the album though, I’m holding out for this William Orbit stuff.
