Day26 released the first single from their ‘A New Day’ album since October and after months of the track being largely unnoticed by the general public, the quartet have issued the tune’s accompanying video. In case you may have forgotten, the title of the track is ‘Made Love Lately’ and it was produced by Jim Beanz.
‘A New Day’ was previously set for release via Atlantic Records in 2011 but it will now be issued later this year. Watch Day26′s video for ‘A New Day’ below:
There is nothing particularly exciting about the “Made Love Lately’ video but it does serve its purpose. However, when Day26 visited BET’s ’106 & Park’ early this evening to debut the clip, most people may have assumed that it was a new song.
That truly says something about the blatant lack of promotion that Day26′s project has had thus far and a sign of the lack of support that they have been receiving from Atlantic. Ever wonder why their album has yet to be given a concrete release date?
Trent which members are u insinuating are gay on ur twitter? Willie and Brian are married with children. Rob had his girlfriend on the show named June. Mike was the ladies man. Who could it be then?
^^^ so young, so naive, so gullible….pats head*
At least, they are trying to make it pop…together.
I know people (including myself) blamed Diddy for ruining Danity Kane but if the girls had believed in their own power (2 #1 albums) and had stuck together no matter what, they would have made it work too. Back in the day,The Spice Girls gave the boot to the creators of the band too. United we stand. So keep hustlin, Day26.

I can’t and i wont with this video. Brian is fat, the dancing was awkward, why are they sharing the girl? Not a big enough budget? But i digress, im happy they’re back together putting out music loved them on the show

@boomdaboomboom: Darling, since when does being married with children mean that a man is (1) heterosexual and (2) faithful? Ever heard of the down-low? You should get out more.
As far as this new song and album, I’ve never been a fan of these boys. I am eagerly awaiting new albums from R. Kelly, D’Angelo and J. Holiday though. Hopefully, we will see more posts on The Lava Lizard concerning these three in the near future.
