‘The Voice’ Coaches Battle In Vocal Kombat Ad

The second season of ‘The Voice’ will air later this evening after Super Bowl XLVI and despite the fact that the show is on track to be a hit because of such a massive lead in, NBC has released yet another promotional spot. Featuring all four coaches locked in Vocal Kombat – their term; not mine – the ad depicts the fierce competition to find the next unlikely star.

In the commercial, which will air continuous throughout the Super Bowl, Cee Lo Green wore his best ‘Kill Bill’ uniform and Christina Aguilera appeared to be Goro Sonya Blade from ‘Mortal Kombat’. ‘The Voice’ will air this evening at 10PM ET.
