After numerous upgrades to The Lava Lizard, the time has finally come for the return of Burning Up! This week, the feature will highlight the talents of the R&B/Soul singing sensation Daley who hails from the UK.
Daley has been generating buzz on the UK music underground for quite some time thanks to his vocal contributions to the Gorillaz’s ‘Doncamatic’ in 2010. He later released his own ‘Those Who Wait’ mixtape in 2011 and thanks to a surprise appearance by Marsha Ambrosius on the song ‘Alone Together’, Daley is quickly building a solid fanbase.

Many people may be wondering, “oh great, another white boy singing R&B,” but there is not doubt that Daley has true talent. His vocals are controlled and he has a brilliant upper register that sounds similar to Prince.
Additionally, Daley has the appeal to crossover to various countries and find success. At first glance, people may assume that he would be yet another Dance/Pop act but the contrast that his music provides makes him even more interesting.
