Ashanti isn’t the only female artist with her eyes fixed on space. Nicki Minaj ventured to Hawaii to film the video for her new single, ‘Starships’, and judging by these behind the scenes shots from the set, she is ready to blast off.

‘Starships’ is the latest offering from Minaj’s upcoming ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album, which hits stores on April 3rd. See more images of Minaj on the set of her new video below:
